1. About CSZone
CSZone (cszone.co.uk) is an online Computer Science revision platform for UK and international students preparing for GCSE, iGCSE and A-Level examinations. It is operated by a specialist Computer Science teacher based in the United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using this platform you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use CSZone.
2. Services and Free Tier
CSZone offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier gives access to the first subtopic of every topic across all supported exam boards, permanently and without requiring a payment method.
The Pro subscription unlocks all lesson content, worksheets, mock exam papers and instantly marked practice for your chosen exam board. School licences provide class-wide access managed by a teacher.
3. Subscription Prices
Pro Student — Annual: £59.00 per year, billed annually
School Licence: Priced per class — contact us for a quote
All prices include VAT where applicable. Prices are displayed and charged in pounds sterling (GBP).
CSZone reserves the right to change subscription prices. If prices change, existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies without penalty.
4. Billing and Automatic Renewal
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) using the payment method you provide at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — CSZone does not store your card details.
Automatic renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive a receipt from Stripe at each renewal.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry the payment and notify you by email. Access to Pro content may be suspended if payment cannot be collected after multiple attempts.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account dashboard using the "Manage subscription" button, which takes you to the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
After cancellation your account reverts to the free tier. Your progress data and account are retained so you can resubscribe at any time.
6. Refund Policy and Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, without giving any reason. This is your statutory cooling-off period.
To exercise this right, email us at hello@cszone.co.uk within 14 days of your purchase with your account email address and the date of purchase. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.
After 14 days: We do not offer refunds for the current billing period once it is under way. However, you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
If you subscribed as part of a school licence, refund terms are set out in your school agreement.
7. Access and Content
CSZone grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the platform during your active subscription. You may not share your account credentials, redistribute content, or use CSZone materials for commercial purposes.
Lesson content, worksheets and mock papers are provided for personal revision only. They are not official past papers and are not endorsed by the exam boards (OCR, AQA, Pearson/Edexcel, CAIE, WJEC). They are written by CSZone's specialist teachers to align with each board's published specification.
Instant marking is provided as a revision aid to help you understand mark scheme criteria. It is not an official examiner's mark and should not be relied upon as a guaranteed prediction of your exam grade.
8. School Licences
School licences provide class-wide access for students enrolled in a teacher's class. Seat limits are enforced per licence. Students join via a class code provided by their teacher.
School licence payments are arranged directly with CSZone and may be made by purchase order or invoice. Annual licences renew at the price agreed at point of purchase unless renegotiated before renewal.
9. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password. CSZone will never ask for your password by email. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission before subscribing.
10. Data and Privacy
CSZone collects only the data necessary to provide the service: your email address, name, exam board selection, and progress data. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Stripe for payment processing.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We use Google Analytics to understand how the platform is used — this data is anonymised. For full details of how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
If you are a school student, your teacher may be able to see your progress and assignment results through the teacher dashboard.
11. Availability and Changes to the Service
CSZone aims to maintain continuous availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
We may add, change or remove features from the platform. Where a significant feature used by existing subscribers is removed, we will provide reasonable notice. We will not remove core lesson content from a subscriber's active exam board mid-subscription without offering a refund for the affected period.
12. Limitation of Liability
CSZone provides revision materials in good faith, but we cannot guarantee specific examination results. Your grades depend on many factors outside our control including your preparation, exam conditions, and marking.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CSZone's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
